Do you craft? I craft. I’m a crafter. Which works out well because everyone who lives in this house is a crafter in some way, shape or form. We pretty much run the whole gamut of available mediums too…Neil loves woodworking, knitting/crochet, and his Mustang (hey, working on cars is just big boy crafting). Garyn works primarily in LEGOs and robotic circuitry. Corra is a watercolor, mud, and play-doh kind of a kid. Layna’s choice is pens, markers, and tape. Lots and lots of tape. I like cake and frosting, food and fabric and Naomi uses every single other conceivable crafting thing known to man. Lately though Naomi and my eclectic tastes in projects have really found a proper outlet with my mom’s Silhouette. It’s a high-end cutting machine that I’ve used to cut everything from sugar paper to vinyl to fabric. Here are a few of the projects I’ve used it for since last summer (not all of them, Naomi had a handful of projects that we showcased on her Instagram feed). My current favorite is the sticker I made for my laptop from a knot design I drew when I was in high school [last image].
