I cried when I read my little girls “The Star Spangled Banner” picture book we have on Independence Day. The page with Arlington National Cemetery hits me hard every time. Our day was the perfect way to celebrate the immense honor it is to live in the best country on the planet and the freedom it gives us to live our best lives. Here is what that looked like on a beautiful Sunday evening at my mom’s. Hope you had fireworks and a lump in your throat too.
I’ve had my fireworks watching buddy for 7 years now and our hair is a little longer. Luckily we are only getting better at celebrating the country we love.
