We woke up to this ^^^. It’s what we were hoping for last week, but last week we only got ice. We will have ice by tomorrow, making it our second Sunday in a row to have church be canceled. A trip to the planetarium was supposed to happen this afternoon. Nope. And speaking of things being canceled…We have yet to have a full week of seminary (between holidays and weather). You know what though? We got to play in the snow. That goes a long way into readjusting our (mostly mine. I’m the one who struggles with unpredictability) perspectives back to present moment and rolling with the now. Tatanka was in heaven, our goats were annoyed but fine once we fed them, and the kids (human) played hard and snuggled hard. Unfortunately we did have a casualty. Two rabbit water bottles succumbed to the extreme temperatures and it was with heavy hearts that we chucked them.

It’s melting and should be totally gone by Monday. Nonetheless, we got what may be our only snow day of the year. It was a very good day.
