Christmas. My Favorite.

Christmas. My Favorite.

We’ve fit an awful lot into this holiday season. The usuals. The novel for this year. I have to say this year, for me at least, has been less a steady drip of Holiday sparkles and more a series of intense bursts of glitter and warm fuzzies.

Some descriptions for the pictures that may not be obvious, starting with Garyn. He went through the temple for the first time and three days later…got his mission call! Anchorage, Alaska. Our desert boy is going to learn about real winters! He and Neil also did some plumbing. Corra volunteered to make Santa’s cookies and did it all by herself. She also helped Neil make a new culinary delight…Olivier Salad (Салат Оливье)! (Ukrainian Potato Salad served at Christmas time). Corra and Layna got my nails looking festive and Naomi led the way on our Christmas eve walk.
We went on our annual Christmas Light Drive and went to see a movie last night. There have been many games played (perhaps the funniest and most frustrating was Bluey’s Keepy Uppy, courtesy of Garyn).

I swear I tried to limit the number of pictures.

Every year I get all reflective and ponder the year that just happened, even more than at New Years. This year was an interesting one. Well. They are all interesting. I keep telling my husband that’s why eternity won’t get boring. Which is good…not that these monkeys don’t keep my life plenty spicy. They do. I’m just super excited to keep adding awesome things to my box of “experiences”. Not to brag, but it’s a pretty fabulous collection.
