What’s the best way to end a week of mostly snow driven remote learning days? Ice skating with friends, of course. Garyn fell in love with ice skating when he was a little dude and I’ve always loved to roller blade (ice skating is just a slightly harder version). Our girls have been enough times and have spent enough time on skates or roller blades to feel confident on the ice. Throw in a few friends and it was a delightful Saturday activity. Layna caught the plague so she stayed home with Daddy…her night was rough to say the least, which means our night was rough. I’m typing and trying hard not to doze off.

This is one of my favorite Youth activities of the year and I’m so glad our kids keep choosing it. Now I need to go take care of Layna, try to keep Corra from catching the plague and pretend that I feel perfectly normal.
