I’m not behind! You’re behind!
Whoa, sorry, my inner 5 year old escaped for a second. That happens sometimes when I’m feeling a bit under pressure. It’s that voice that just really wants someone to insist that I take a nap. Saturday night when I should have been home blogging and watch the latest pseudo-anime “it” movie (“K-Pop Demon Hunters”) I was chaperoning a stake dance. Don’t worry Neil already agreed to watch it again with me on Friday for our date night. Needless to say I’m behind schedule. Normally that alone would not let my inner five year old by-pass my grown up filters, but I am over-run with fruit and therefore involved canning projects, school starts in a week, and we have puppies. It’s all good chaos and it too will pass. So in the meantime here is a chill throwback to a few weeks ago when Naomi went to FSY and we went to the beach.
Panda Express is the traditional lunch before an FSY drop-off and always lives up to the hype. My littlest mermaids just keep getting taller and tanner. My husband just keeps getting grayer and handsomer. Sigh. More delightful summer moments that balance me drowning in pears/apples/berries/figs/puppies/appointments/late bedtimes/piano practice/back to school.
