The light quality has changed, I can wear hoodies in the morning and sometimes all day, our weekends are booked solid, and I just paid an arm AND a leg for candy. Fall is here, my friends, and I’m soaking it all in like I do. Berlin was especially lovely for Neil when he went recently and his first day there was the first day of Fall. He liked the new hotel and all around the food was amazing. Neil also got to tour the new office that Grammarly is building to expand the Berlin Hub. Its location is actually even better if we want to go with him again, because it’s close to a lot of cool spots we’d love to visit. Spending time with co-workers from his team and the Berlin team was nice given how closely he works with them, and the Berlin team manager up a few levels (who loves Neil) gave him a standing invite to come work from Berlin anytime he wants to. Duly Noted.
The only real adventure was helping a buddy who broke his ankle stumbling back to the hotel after over-indulging at the office OktoberFest party. Once again, grateful there are some problems I don’t worry about when Neil travels.
