My hunny had another birthday. On that most specialist of days we also had doctors appointments and a soccer game, so that meant a dinner date the Friday before. Luckily we just want to hang out together so we aren’t too picky about location. Olive Garden fit the bill just fine and we had a lovely night out. Naomi took her sisters to the school play and everyone was happy.
I’m getting worse at taking pictures so here’s the remains of a delicious dinner.
The official celebration was a low-key Sunday dinner. Tuna Noodle Casserole, fruit salad and Tres Leches for dessert. Presents given to the hardest man in the world to shop for and that was a wrap.
It was a quiet birthday for a normal year kind of a birthday. We just keep on doing crazy things. We scaled back on livestock but we got two puppies. We sent one kid on a mission and are working hard to help our girls get through school too. We keep working on fixing up our house and are going to start on a guest cabin as soon as we can. I couldn’t do crazy with the same kind of panache without this guy, or his salt’n’pepper temples and beard. He becomes my favorite more and more every year.
